The War Zone: Fragments of Loss
I use the destruction and devastation of the land during wartime as a starting point for my work. My art is a response to the Russian aggression that led to the Russian-Ukrainian War. At the center of my work is the preciousness of human life, marked by rapid change and fleeting moments. Through my ceramic forms, I explore the reality of living under the constant threat of annihilation. The war zone becomes both a physical and psychological space in the work, drawing on multiple references to reflect the complexity and tragedy of the situation.
